The International AIDS Society (IAS) was founded on June 12, 1988 and is the world’s largest association of HIV/AIDS professionals.
Over 16,000 members from 196 countries actively work together to tackle the global AIDS crisis through medical treatment, community action, investment in HIV cure research and initiatives for those at a higher risk of catching the HIV virus.
The challenge: Managing companywide signatures with limited resources
Having recently migrated to Microsoft 365, they needed a way to quickly put a standard email signature in place for all staff.
To set up an Office 365 signature, an IT administrator needs to create a Transport Rule to apply to users. The more signature variations, the more rules were needed. Managing email signatures this way was not efficient. This was how the IAS was having to work, with different signatures needed for multiple domains.
At the same time, only one person could ever work on updating email signatures due to the small size of the IT team.
Choosing efficiency and automation
The IAS chose our email signature software to automatically add HTML email signatures to all messages sent from Office 365. There was nothing to install and no additional maintenance for their IT team. It also meant all users would get the correct signature when emailing from mobiles.
Working together for success
We stayed in constant contact with the IAS to offer support when needed. As they’re a not-for-profit organization, we gave them special pricing and an extended trial period. We also rebuilt and imported their email signature templates into our cloud solution. The IAS couldn’t have been happier.
