The challenge: Manual email signature updates slowed productivity 

Before Exclaimer, when clients required changes to their email signatures, this was managed manually and meant a series of repetitive tasks for Advantage’s IT team. Updates required configuring Outlook, web clients, and mobile devices for each user—creating formatting errors, broken links, and a steady stream of support tickets. 

“Even if a user changed their visible email address, the hyperlink behind it was still wrong,” said Steve Smith, Regional Manager – Auckland. “You’d have to fix it manually.” 

Attempts to centralize email signatures using Microsoft 365 transport rules didn’t solve the problem. Updates still required IT tickets, slowed onboarding, and pulled focus from higher-value work.

Internally, Advantage uses Exclaimer the same way they recommend it: to control email branding, rotate promotional banners, and include booking links and social feeds.
